What a great time!
We had a few hitches, like bringing the wrong music (thanks to our amazing Uncle Igor for singing nearly nonstop instead) and accidentally having the guests stand during the whole ceremony. Still, with such friendly people and such great food it was a blast!
The solar electric system we built and brought to the wedding only used 12% of its battery power during the whole event.
It's the day of the wedding, and I've received a couple of questions on what to wear. It's a wedding, so you should dress nicely. You don't need a tie, but if you wear jeans you will feel out of place.
Also, Bush park is very very big. If you don't know where to look, you may be wandering around for an hour before you find the wedding. Just remember that we're at the south end of the park under the oak trees and you will find us. The directions are over at the Wedding Info page.

It looks like the weather will be nice in Salem on the 22nd, 81 degrees and party cloudy. During the last heat wave we were concerned that the guests, and the wedding party especially, would be roasting. It turns out it will be a very pleasant evening. We visited the park a week before the wedding and noticed that there weren't any mosquitoes either.
A week ago we finished our portable solar power system that we will be using to power the microphones, music, and lights. Look for the construction pictures in our gallery.
