Executive Co-OfficersMallory DeGray and Alfonso Jimenez

  • Appointing and delegating- Take great care in the appointments you make and in delegating tasks.
  • Attending- You are a significant role model; so, attendance at regular club meetings, board meetings, and all club activities is crucial.  Officers shall miss a total of only 3 meetings per term.
  • Goal Setting-Set goals with every idea and task i.e.: date and time
  • Continuously monitor and motivate!
  • Responsibility for agenda
  • Succession-keep club progressing positively
  • Training-club officers, train to train.
  • Take over in the absence of other Co-Officers
  • Keep record of club members through memorization
  • Take notes at every meeting
  • Work efficiently and successfully as a team with other officers.
  • Be in clear, honest, and consistent communication with other officers

Secretary Angela Rampone

  • Responsible for OSU STAND records
  • Head Note taker (and Take minutes of each meeting)
  • Accurate up to date list of members and contact information
  • Responsible for weekly emails, working with Executive Officers
  • Responsible for booking/reservations of persons, places and things.
  • Possess copy of treasurer reports
  • Write Thank you notes to people and organizations that have helped OSU STAND.

Publicist - Anne Wright

  • Responsible for getting OSU STAND media attention through local newspapers, journals, stations etc.
  • Specializes in personal media related coverage of club events (photos, video, etc.)
  • Keeps log/journal of club’s actions and accomplishments
  • Provides media representation of OSU STAND, or Darfur awareness, when needed, as quickly as possible.

Treasurer/Fundraising Chair - Alfonso Jimenez

  • Keeper of the money
  • Must be Trustworthy and punctual.
  • Responsible for transporting money to club account.
  • Keeps accurate count of money fundraised.
  • Monitors money input and withdrawal.
  • Co-approves money usage with Presidents.
  • Safely secures money related activity and financial record.
  • Makes sure fundraising related activity is successful and approved.
  • Contacts and communicates with fundraising personal.
  • Keeps club’s best current and future interest in mind with decisions.
  • Finds sources of funding and applies for funding from these sources

News Specialist - Alan Dennis

  • Keeps current with up to date world news and action.
  • Up to date with divestment in relation to petition, voting, bills, etc.
  • Motivator and idea maker for effective ways to take action

Event Planner - Anna Larson

  • Create ideas and activities for events (with input from others)
  • Work closely with Secretary to Reserve space, time for the event through the venue (such as MU)
  • Coordinate actual event, make sure it runs smoothly

Club/Community Outreach Officer - Yuliya Kostromitina

  • Work on club promotion (through flyers around campus, etc)
  • Work on getting the word out, and students and community involved
